pancreatic cancer, turbo cancer, vaccine injury

On this day last year my mom was healthy. She ate a perfect diet, did water aerobics daily, volunteered at the food pantry and had a rich and full social life.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the day I took her to the hospital for a small lump and pain in her groin. She would be sent home with a diagnosis of constipation and possible hernia- but that diagnosis was incorrect.

Within two weeks of this day last year – my mom’s groin pain had become so debilitating that she could no longer walk and needed round the clock care. As the lump in her groin grew visibly each day- her pain and suffering grew. We were suddenly thrown into 6 months of fighting an invisible enemy- an enemy that was too fast and too strong.

However, on this day last year she was healthy. On this day last year I wasn’t worried about my mom at all. On this day last year I assumed that there was still plenty of time.
