Evolution

While I was making this piece, I thought “it looks so grown up.” That made me think about growing up.

Yesterday was my fifty second birthday, and I have done more growing up in the past two years than I had over the course of the first fifty.

But even with all of that growing up- I still feel like a baby most of the time.

I think maybe we don’t ever really grow up. Sometimes we may feel grown- but then there is always more growing to do.

We don’t grow up. Throughout our lives we continue to develop, we continue to evolve.
