I am a middle aged white woman from Park Forest, Illinois. I spent 30 years as a preschool teacher in Southern Cook County, Illinois.
During the Covid years things that I saw as common sense were suddenly deemed extreme and my personal opinions were deemed political dissonance.
However, in my opinion, I am the least extérneme person I know. I am very content sitting alone in the forest, playing with puppies and babies and making things out of string and beads.
I’m still not sure if I went crazy or if the world went crazy.
Following a continuous series of leaps of faith- I landed at Union Street Gallery in Chicago Heights, Illinois. I now spend my time walking in the forest with my dogs, teaching children and making strange wearable sculptures out of yarn.
